This
highly anticipated international event sees some of the world's best
cyclists pitting their strenghts and skills in one of the most gruelling
tests of man and machine on the circuit. Starting off from idyllic
Langkawi island, cyclists traverse the lenght of Peninsular Malaysia
before finishing in Kuala Lumpur.
Cultural dances, parades, performances and a variety of shows and
displays acoompany this prestigious event.

Territory Day. Parades, fireworks display, cultural shows and exhibitions

Chinese
New Year

The
Lunar New Year is celebrated by the Chinese throughout the world and
here in Malaysia it's no different with an abundance of food and family
gatherings. Ang Pows or red packets of money are given to the young
and unmarried while the symbol of prosperity, the mandarin orange,
is liberally consumed. An important different in Malaysia, however,
is the 'open house' that all Malaysians delight in, and where all
are made welcome.
